Group because activated carbon cannot be found as such, it is obtained by means of activating different raw materials with a high carbon content. To cover the wide range of applications activated carbon might have only a few raw materials are used commercially because of their: properties availability, and low cost.

Group has activation plants both in Mexico and Brazil. There, activated carbon is produced from the following raw materials:

• Wood activated with phosphoric acid
• Wood activated with steam
• Coconut shells activated with steam
• Lignite activated with steam
• Bituminous Coal activated with steam

These allow us to offer a wide range of products, both powdered and granular, to fulfill your purification needs regardless ofthe application.
